I'm an academic, a design specialist, and a child care advocate serving as a senior policy analyst at the Day Care Council of New York. Prior to doctoral studies, I oversaw the University of Chicago's Jumpstart program, which delivered literacy programming to under-resourced preschools in Chicago. I received a Ph.D. and M.A. in American history from Princeton, an M.A. in social sciences from the University of Chicago, and a B.A. in history from Georgia State University. At Princeton, I completed a generals field in the History of Modern Technology and obtained a certificate in the History of Science. Outside of work, I am currently pursuing an MBA at Boston University's Questrom School of Business and intern at a New York improv theater. |
